What It Is

A soil treatment, not a foliar spray.

Nellastra Soil Amendment is applied as a drench rather than sprayed on leaves. It's built to fix what's happening below the surface — compacted soil, leftover fertilizer salts, acidity, and contamination that limit what your plants can actually access.

Cation Exchange

Stimulates the electro-magnetic interaction between roots and nutrient ions, encouraging more efficient nutrient absorption.

pH Neutralization

Helps neutralize acidic soils damaged by acidic fertilizers or repeated chemical inputs over time.

Reclaims Unused Fertilizer

Helps recover nutrients left unused in the soil from previous growing seasons, reducing waste and new fertilizer need.

Contamination Cleanup

Documented for reducing soil contamination from insecticides, herbicides, synthetic fertilizer residue, and light oil/diesel contamination.

Higher BRIX

Field-reported BRIX increases of 20–50% over 3–4 weeks following application, alongside improved nutrient uptake.

Freeze & Drought Resilience

Reported to reduce frost damage risk to approximately 27°F and improve resilience under drought stress.

How To Apply

Matched to your soil problem.

Unlike a foliar spray, Soil Amendment doesn't have one fixed per-acre rate — how much drench water you use depends on your soil depth and treatment area. The ratio below stays constant regardless of scale.

General Soil Reclamation
1 oz : 4 gal water
Soak thoroughly to root depth, then plow or agitate. Repeat if needed.
Acidic Soil Neutralization
1 oz : 5 gal water
Drench thoroughly; repeat as needed to fully neutralize acidity.
Improved Nutrient Absorption
1 oz : 4 gal liquid fertilizer
Tank-mix into your existing liquid fertilizer program.
Root Zone Rescue
1 oz : 5 gal water
For stressed or diseased plants. Repeat every few weeks as needed.
Fusarium Fungus Pre-Plant Program
1 oz : 2 gal → 1 oz : 4 gal
Drench 5–7 days before planting, then again ~1 week after transplanting.

Common Questions

Before you order.

How is this different from Nellastra 100?

Nellastra 100 is a foliar spray applied to leaves at a per-acre rate. Soil Amendment is a drench applied directly to the soil, used to fix root-zone and soil-condition issues rather than leaf-level nutrient absorption.

Can I use both products together?

Yes. Soil Amendment addresses what's happening below the surface, while Nellastra 100 improves foliar nutrient uptake — many programs use both.

How much water do I need for my field?

That depends on your soil depth and treatment area, which you control. Use the calculator to convert your planned drench volume into the exact amount of concentrate needed.

Is it safe for granular fertilizer programs?

Yes — for granular fertilizer, drench the soil well enough to reach the fertilizer granules for improved absorption.
